A part-time Occupational Therapist position is available at an elementary school located in Pawtucket, RI. This role offers a contract assignment from January 5, 2026, through June 15, 2026, serving primarily PreK students with occasional support for grades 1 through 3. Flexibility in scheduling and caseload is essential to meet the dynamic needs of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to preschool and early elementary students to support their developmental, sensory, and motor needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory and school policies.
- Adapt to evolving caseloads and maintain a flexible schedule across two part-time days per week from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active state occupational therapy license.
- Experience working with early childhood populations, particularly in school settings.
- Ability to adjust therapy plans in response to changing student needs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators and families.
- Flexibility in work schedule and caseload management.
Location: Onsite at an elementary school in Pawtucket, RI.
Schedule: Part-time, 2 days per week, hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with schedule flexibility required.
